The Capstone Retreat is the final gathering for an ICP cohort. As one might imagine, after working together for the past eighteen months, Ignatian Colleagues have often developed many meaningful relationships with other colleagues. They have come to more deeply appreciate and respect the wisdom of the group and look forward to creating future opportunities to collaborate and celebrate together.
Additionally, Capstone provides an opportunity for colleagues to integrate what they have learned in the program and apply it to their work as responsible co-workers and companions in mission.
The Capstone Experience features:
1. Conversations around the final workshop ICP 560: Ignatian Discernment to Advance the Mission.
2. Presentations by university presidents and experts on Ignatian leadership and discernment (individual and communal).
3. Case Studies to practice communal discernment.
4. Mission Project Sharing
5. Commissioning Ceremony
6. Discussions for advancing the mission back on one's home campus and throughout the AJCU network.
